Forwards Rory Best and Paul O'Connell appear to be Ireland's main injury worries ahead of Saturday's final autumn international against Argentina.
Both players suffered dead legs in the defeat by New Zealand on Saturday but will be given every chance to prove that they are fit to face the Pumas.
"We will not make a call on them until at least Tuesday," said Ireland's communications manager Karl Richardson.
Ireland are due to announce their team on Tuesday but that may now be delayed.
Ten players have been added to the match squad of 22 selected to face the All Blacks for Saturday's game at Croke Park.
Forwards Tom Court, Mike Ross, Bernard Jackman, Bob Casey, Malcolm O'Kelly and Ryan Caldwell and backs Andrew Trimble, Geordan Murphy, Gavin Duffy and Shane Horgan all join the Irish panel for the game.
Meanwhile scrum-half Tomas O'Leary has warned that Ireland must pick up their game if they are to beat Argentina.
"I don't think anyone could be satisfied with the performance against the All Blacks," said the Munster player, who was earning only his second cap.
"We didn't play any rugby and we have to learn what went wrong in time for Argentina, which has become a massive game now.
"I'm disappointed, because I felt like we prepared well against New Zealand. I definitely expected more from us - we're capable of much better.
"That's a positive for the future. But it's no good talking about how good we are or about potential. We need to produce."
