Sale's Chabal gets five-week ban
Sale number eight Sebastien Chabal has been banned for five weeks following his sending off in the Premiership leaders' 26-16 loss to Wasps on Sunday.
He was sent off for stamping on Lawrence Dallaglio and then spat at Fraser Waters as he left the pitch.
A disciplinary panel on Monday imposed a two-week penalty for stamping and three weeks for spitting.
Chabal will be free to play again on 4 April, so will miss the Heineken Cup quarter-final with Biarritz on 2 April.
