Australia fly-half Matt Giteau scored all of his side's points as the Wallabies made it four wins in a row against France.
Giteau scored the only try of the match and added a conversion and five penalties as the hosts defeated the weary French with some ease.
Australia led 10-3 at half-time and Giteau added four second-half penalties to slowly grind France down.
Wallaby flanker George Smith was man of the match in his 99th Test appearance.
