Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney says the arrival of Ayoola Erinle from Leicester Tigers has raised his side's level of play.

The Green and Whites enjoyed an emphatic 57-8 win over Manchester at Meadow Lane on Sunday.

Delaney told BBC Radio Nottingham: "He's [Erinle] been very positive and our backs have responded very well.

"He caused a lot of trouble when he had the ball and that meant our wingers had a lot of chances."

Delaney added: "It's an exiting thing to have a player of that calibre playing in your team because you want to raise your game and show him that you're a good player as well.

"He's working his way back to fitness and will be challenging for a spot in that Leicester first team and we're happy to keep giving him game time."
