Leeds' Key wants more intensity
Director of rugby Andy Key has warned Leeds Carnegie they must lift their performances in the next fortnight.
Leeds beat Esher 52-8 on Saturday and face title rivals Doncaster Knights and Bedford Blues, both at home, next.
"Our defensive efforts were awesome, but we are not happy because the performance we are looking for was not there," Key told the club's website.
"We now go into a string of games that are going to be a lot more testing."
Leeds have won all nine games this season and are clear at the top of National League One by five points from Bedford and Exeter.
Key added: "The players are up beat and know what they are capable of.
"We know going into Doncaster that it will be a really good challenge but we will be ready for it."
Leeds tackle Doncaster on Saturday 1 November and Bedford on Sunday 9 November. Both games kick off at 1500 GMT.
BBC Radio Leeds will have live reports on Saturday of Leeds Carnegie v Doncaster Knights on 103.9 FM and online at bbc.co.uk/leeds.
