Northampton will not take Plymouth Albion lightly, despite the Devon side not winning a league match this year, according to Saints' director of rugby.
Jim Mallinder says that, despite their poor results in the league, Albion have been excellent in the National Trophy.
"In the National Trophy they have been unstoppable with a series of powerful and professional performances," Mallinder said.
Northampton easily won January's league meeting between the two sides 44-5.
"If we repeat our last performance then we will be in real trouble against Plymouth"
"We had a tough, physical game at the Brickfields in January and know that we will be in another on Saturday, particularly with a place at Twickenham at stake.
"Every club wants to win silverware and it is a big incentive for all of the players involved."
Despite Northampton being unbeaten in National One and looking a certainty to go straight back to the Premiership, they struggled to beat bottom side Birmingham & Solihull 27-17 last week.
"We didn't have the best of games against the Bees and know that if we repeat that performance then we will be in real trouble against Plymouth," Mallinder said.
