Worcester deny Larkham deal

Worcester have denied reports that they have signed Australia international fly-half Stephen Larkham.

The Wallaby was reported to have been offered a £3m three-year deal by the National First Division champions which would double his current salary.

But Worcester director of rugby John Brain told the Independent: "There is no truth in the story.

"We have talked to his agent but the last time I had any contact with him was three weeks ago."

Brain added: "I think the figures quoted are the ones Larkham is looking for from an English club."
