Eagles land PNG World Cup star
Sheffield Eagles have signed Papa New Guinean international Trevor Exton on a two-year contract.
The 26-year-old, who will start against England on Saturday in the opening match of the World Cup, will join the Eagles January.
"I wanted to try and play football overseas, for the experience," Exton told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"The Eagles have had a quality side, good players, for a number of years so I decided to put pen to paper."
