Second seed Martin Adams eased into the semis after a convincing 5-1 win over Wayne Jones - in the other quarter-final Aussie Tony David performed the comeback of the championships with an epic 5-4 victory over Bob Taylor.
Number four seed Mervyn King reached his first Embassy final after a convincing 5-1 victory over local favourite Colin Monk.
Tony David kept his cool and continued with his fairytale championship when he became the first Australian to reach a World Darts final after an epic, nail biter of a contest against second seed Martin Adams.
