Former world champion and Athens bronze medallist Chris Draper has announced his Olympic comeback with a bid for gold at the London 2012 Games.
He and Peter Greenhalgh will battle Beijing duo Stevie Morrison and Ben Rhodes for a spot in the 49er class.
Draper stepped away from Olympic racing after he and his old partner Simon Hiscocks missed selection for Beijing.
"I looked back in the middle of last year and realised that I'd perhaps not given it my all," said Draper.
"The fact that we're heading for a home Olympics has been a huge factor as well.

Great Britain's sailors topped the medal table in Beijing with six, including four golds, but Morrison and Rhodes finished ninth overall in the 49er class.
