Wildcats sign Aldridge for season

Swindon Wildcats have signed forward Ryan Aldridge for the rest of the English Premier League season.

Aldridge, who started with Wildcats as a youngster, has returned to the club from his role as coach of Basingstoke Bison.

Aldridge the English Premier title with Bracknell as player-coach in 2006/07.

His first game back with Wildcats was the 2-0 defeat to the Bees on Saturday before also taking part in Sunday's 5-3 win at Sheffield.

Wildcats are currently fourth in the English Premier League, ahead of this Saturday's meeting with Telford Tigers.
