GB international Wood joins Blaze

Greg Wood is the latest Great Britain international to join his national coach Paul Thompson at Coventry Blaze, having signed from Basingstoke Bison.

Wood becomes the third GB player to sign for the Blaze this summer following Leigh Jamieson and Ben O'Connor to the Skydome Arena.

Blaze head coach Thompson has also confirmed that Joe Henry has signed his first full-time professional contract.

19-year-old Henry has spent the last three seasons as an apprentice.
