Penguins & Stars into final four

Pittburgh and Dallas completed the NHL Conference finals line-up with series wins over the NY Rangers and San Jose.

Marian Hossa's overtime goal sealed a 3-2 win for the Penguins who took the series 4-1 and now face Philadelphia.

Brenden Morrow's goal deep in overtime gave Dallas a 2-1 win for a 4-2 series victory over the Sharks. They take on Detroit in the Western finals.

Toronto have fired coach Paul Maurice after the Maple Leafs failed to make the play-offs for second straight year.

Maurice, 41, still had one year left on a three-year contract. His dismissal follows the firing of general manager John Ferguson in January.
