Flyers soar into Eastern finals
Philadelphia advanced to the NHL's Eastern Conference finals with a 4-1 series win against Montreal.
RJ Umberger scored twice as the Flyers beat the Canadiens 6-4 to eliminate the 24-times Stanley Cup champions.
Montreal opened up a 3-1 lead in the second period but Philadelphia roared back with a three-goal flurry in just under three minutes.
The hosts tied the game at 4-4 early in the third but the Flyers scored twice more in the last four minutes.
Centre Daniel Briere, a boyhood Canadiens fans, said: "I thought we played better as the series moved along. We got more and more comfortable."
Montreal coach Guy Carbonneau admitted: "It was probably the worst game that we played defensively."
