Flyers & Sharks win to progress
Philadelphia beat Washington 3-2 in overtime to seal a 4-3 series win and reach the NHL's Eastern semi-finals.
Right wing Joffrey Lupul scored the game-winner six minutes into the extra period. The Flyers now play Montreal, the Conference's top seeds.
In the West, San Jose moved into the final four with a 5-3 win over Calgary which also sealed a 4-3 series victory.
The Sharks scored four second-period goals in less than nine minutes to seal the win and now face the Dallas Stars.
Veteran Jeremy Roenick scored the first two goals of the salvo and added a pair of assists for the second seeds.
The 38-year-old was ready to retire last season after 18 NHL campaigns without a Stanley Cup win.
