Kazakhstan force GB out of medals
Great Britain missed out on a World Championship medal after a 3-1 defeat to Kazakhstan in Austria.
Britain, without a medal since taking silver in 2001, went into the contest with a chance of finishing second.
But despite taking an early powerplay lead through David Clarke, they could not capitalise and were outshot 35-8 in the first two sessions.
Andrey Spiridonov netted in the 13th and 55th minutes and Alexey Vyatkin made sure of the win 32 seconds later.
