Ducks snatch Stanley Cup opener
Travis Moen struck deep into the third period to hand Anaheim Ducks a comeback win in game one of the best-of-seven Stanley Cup finals against Ottawa.
Ottawa's Mike Fisher opened the scoring just 98 seconds into the game with a powerplay goal, but Teemu Selanne set up Andy McDonald to equalise.
Wade Redden's second-period powerplay goal put the Senators back ahead but a late rally saw the Ducks win through.
Ryan Getzlaf levelled before Moen fired a bouncing puck in to snatch the win.
It was Moen's fifth goal of the play-offs and he said: "The puck was kind of bouncing and I got lucky and caught it on the way down and it went in.
"It was huge to go up 3-2 with a couple of minutes left. I think every kid dreams of scoring a goal to win a game in a Stanley Cup final. It's something special and something I will never forget."
Senators player Jason Spezza said: "It's not so much what they did, it's what we didn't do. We probably turned the puck over more here than we have the entire play-offs."
