Friday's Five Live selection is Dancing Lyra in the 1510 at Musselburgh (all times BST).
There are only two race meetings on Friday at Musselburgh and Wolverhampton following the abandonment of Newcastle.
The ground is soft at Musselburgh but that may ease further with heavy rain at the track this morning. Racing begins at 1410 and the emphasis will be on stamina.
Dancing Lyra proved last time out at Southwell that he can handle heavy ground, which will make him difficult to beat in the 1510.
The gelding was having his first run for Richard Fahey and demonstrated vast improvement. He has just six rivals and his main danger is Flightly Fellow, who runs well fresh.
Mick Channon's two year olds have been running well and the East Illsley trainer can be on the mark with Stir Crazy in the 1440.
Wolverhampton's all-weather card begins at 1430 and the polytrack is riding as standard. The five furlong sprint at 1630 looks competitive with the 13 runners having won over 50 races between them.
Almaty Express and Henry Tun have been in exceptional form, and while Henry Tun has won more races, Almaty Express is preferred following a bold front-running performance at this track last month.
Latif is fancied to continue his good recent form in the long distance handicap at 1700.
Meanwhile, Sunday's meeting at Newton Abbot has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
