Jersey trio prepare for GB event
Three teenage gymnasts from the Jersey Special Gymnastics Club are heading to Gran Canaria to compete for Great Britain next week.
British Open winner Alex Buesnel will be joined by Harry Smale and Special Olympics medallist Samantha Godel.
The trio are competing at the Bloome Festival of Special Gymnastics.
Head coach John Grady says sending three representatives to the event is a great honour for the gymnasts, the club and the island.
