Shuker loses doubles semi-final

Lucy Shuker

Britain's Lucy Shuker and her partner Florence Gravellier lost their women's doubles semi-final in the Roland Garros Masters Series wheelchair tennis event.

Shuker and French player Gravellier lost 7-5 6-4 to the second seeds, Dutch duo Korie Homan and Sharon Walraven.

It is the second-successive year that Shuker, who partnered Walraven here in 2007, has lost in Paris at this stage.

Shuker was knocked out of the singles event on Wednesday and will now focus on next week's Invacare World Team Cup.

The event, the Davis and Fed Cups of wheelchair tennis, takes place in Cremona, Italy.
