Defending champion Phil Taylor produced a televised record 116.01 average as he went top of the Premier League table.
The 8-3 win over John Part also ended the Canadian's hopes of reaching the play-off finals at Wembley next month.
The 48-year-old Stoke star said: "I am delighted, but more importantly I've qualified for the play-offs - but I won't be relaxing."
His previous televised record was 114.53 set at last year's Blue Square UK Open against Wes Newton.
He has a free week in the Premier League next week, his next match is against third-placed Mervyn King.
