Taylor eases to Premier play-offs
Phil Taylor has qualified for the play-offs of the Premier League of Darts by beating World Champion John Part 8-3 at the Wembley Arena.
Taylor continued his recent good form with a three dart average of 111, the highest of the tournament so far.
'The Power' also picked up £1,000 for his checkout of 139, the highest of Thursday evening's action.
Elsewhere Adrian Lewis went down 8-4 to Raymond van Barneveld to slip to sixth in the table.
Taylor has secured a guaranteed £40,000 prize for reaching the semi-finals, which take place in Cardiff in May.
