Hampshire thrower hit by year ban
Portsmouth darts player Andy Jenkins has been banned from the sport for 12 months, following his conduct at the German Championships in December.
The Darts Regulation Authority imposed the punishment from 15 February, to run until 15 May this year. The remaining nine months are suspended.
Jenkins is likely to make his comeback at the Professional Darts Corporation's US Open in Connecticut during May.
The 36-year-old is ranked 18 in the PDC Order of Merit.
