Gosselin laps competitors to win

Josh Gosselin overtook every other rider as he won the fourth round of the Ian Brown and Arrowsmith Marlowe Cross Country series.

Gosselin stormed off the start line ahead of the other riders from the elite, advanced and veteran categories.

In perfect conditions on his favourite course, Pleinmont, he put his head down and set his sights on the back riders.

Gosselin lapped every rider in the race with a sprint finish to overtake second placed Jon Osborn on the line.

Ben Walden managed to hold off another good ride from Jamie Burtenshaw to take the advanced category spoils.

Nick Mann took the veteran category, finishing ahead of some advanced and elite riders in the process.

Tim Martin finished in second place with Andy Wilson, Paul Setters and Gary Walbridge rounding off the veterans.
