With less than a week to go until the 120-mile Cyclosportive, our man takes a well-earned break from training to experience the thrill of his first bike race.

In his latest video diary, Martin travels to central London for a celebration of cycling at the Smithfield Nocturne but true to form, the event does not quite go to plan.

On Friday, our volunteer amateur cyclist will share his last thoughts before the big race on Sunday. Don't miss it!
