Armstrong to run in NY marathon
Cycling legend Lance Armstrong is planning to compete in the New York City Marathon on 5 November.
The Texan retired from cycling after winning an unprecedented seventh straight Tour de France last year.
"I've been training some, but I wouldn't call it serious," said the former triathlete, who recovered from testicular cancer.
"It's just something to fill a void in my life after I quit competing as a professional cyclist."
