Scotland's Alex Marshall has retained the World Indoor Bowls title by overwhelming Ian Bond in Norfolk.
Marshall, who had already won the title a record four times, beat the 10th-seeded Englishman 10-2 11-5 to claim the £30,000 winner's cheque.
The 40-year-old top seed said: "Winning the fifth title is fantastic.
"I don't know what it is about Potters - I just feel so relaxed here and, as soon as I get on the rink, I feel totally at home."
Marshall was particularly delighted to have increased his tally of world titles in comparison to three-time winner, compatriot and pairs partner Paul Foster.
"It puts a bit of space between me and Paul," he said.
"There were a few occasions when I could see he had the chance to make a few shots and I covered them"
"To be honest, Bondy had a lot of bad luck along the way - and that makes a massive difference.
"But there were a few occasions when I could see he had the chance to make a few shots and I covered them."
The top seed had been the only non-Englishman left in the competition at the quarter-final stage.
But he defeated Mervyn King 6-5 10-2 then 13th seed Billy Jackson 10-6 8-3 in the semi-finals.
Bond had been made to battle all the way by fellow Englishman Simon Skelton before winning 5-5 9-4.
The unseeded Skelton had defeated compatriot Steve Knight 7-5 10-9 to reach the semi-finals, while Bond beat Graham Smith 9-7 11-4.
Meanwhile, Jackson had defeated Mark Royal, the 12th seed, 7-6 5-5.
