World Series victory for Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox have won the baseball World Series, defeating the Colorado Rockies 4-3 in a four game sweep of the best-of-seven series.
It is the second World Series win in four seasons for the Red Sox after they beat St Louis in 2004. Prior to that they had to wait 86 years for a win.
The Rockies had won 21 of 22 games in the run up to their first World Series, but failed to shine in the finals.
No team has ever come from 3-0 down to win the World Series.
