Slack seals Israeli triathlon win
Stoke's Jacqui Slack has won the Eilat Triathlon Championship in Israel.
The 25-year-old completed the Olympic distance race in a time of two hours and 16 minutes to be the first woman to finish in the 2,500-strong field.
"I was surprised with my result as illness prevented me from training for six weeks before the race," said Slack.
"I had no expectations, but being relaxed seemed to work to my advantage, it's something I perhaps need to consider for future competitions."
