Guernsey set for volleyball Open
More than 20 teams are set to take part in this weekend's Guernsey Open volleyball tournament at Beau Sejour.
The reigning champions from last year - Anglesey's men's team and Reading's women's team - are both back to defend their crowns.
"The ladies standard is very high, there's no weak teams in the tournament, even the local sides," Neil Elmy, the tournament organiser said.
"In the men's I've got to give the champions Anglesey the nod," he added.
"It's always awkward because you don't know with the English teams who they're bringing across, but it'll be good weekend of volleyball," Elmy added.
