Jersey pair come seventh in Italy
Jersey rowers Ian Blandin and James Ramsden were the top-placed British crew, finishing seventh, at the Coastal Rowing World Championships in Italy.
The pair finished the eight-kilometre course off the San Remo coast a minute and a half behind the winners, as the top three crews came from France.
"It's brilliant. We're really pleased," Ramsden told BBC Radio Jersey.
The pair are now looking forward to a short trip for next year's World Championships in Plymouth.
