Latin Boardmasters brilliance
Photographers on the beach with their paparazzi lenses have been jumping for joy.
More great surfing conditions and sunshine at last! Thursday started to look a picture postcard image.
The Brazilian surfers are becoming a real force to contend with. There has not yet been a Brazilian world champion of surfing but surely it is only a matter of time.
Why do they do so well? Well, these Latin American riders are kings of the tactical game.
They have mastered the art of paddling close to your opponent and getting into a priority position for waves, which is a sure fire way of securing the best rides when it is done well.
The only area now where the British riders are still going strong is on the vert ramp! The skateboarders and BMX riders have been pulling off their biggest stunts for the crowds.
