Dimas hit by injury setback
Greek weightlifter Pyrros Dimas, who is aiming to win a fourth Olympic gold medal, has been released from hospital after injuring his right arm.
The 32-year-old, who led the team at the opening ceremony, was injured in training on Monday.
He is one of Greece's main medal hopes and the arena is totally sold out for his event on Saturday night.
Dimas has been plagued by knee injuries recently and vowed to compete "on one leg if necessary".
The full extent of his injury should become clear later in the week but if he cannot take part, it will be another major setback to Greek team morale.
