Brazil earn volleyball gold
Brazil swept aside Italy to win the Olympic men's volleyball title.
The world champions allowed their opponents to level the final at one set all but their blocking and serving proved too strong in the next two.
Brazil, who were unbeaten throughout the tournament, triumphed 25-15 24-26 25-20 25-22 with Gilberto Godoy Filho contributing 20 points.
Three-times former Olympic champions Russia took the bronze with a crushing 25-22 27-25 25-16 win over the US.
