Brazil-Italy set for final
World champions Brazil overwhelmed the United States in straight sets to reach the final of the men's volleyball.
Brazil's powerful spiking, led by star duo Gilberto Godoy Filho and Andre Nascimento, proved too much for the Americans who lost 25-16 25-17 25-23.
They will face European champions Italy in the final after they stormed to a straight-sets victory over Russia.
The Italians, ranked two in the world, overwhelmed their sixth-ranked opponents 25-16 25-17 25-16.
