US enjoy softball win
The United States women's softball team defeated Greece 7-0 in their latest preliminary round match in Athens.
Lisa Fernandez allowed just one hit as the Americans posted their sixth straight cleansheet and fourth match shortened by the "mercy rule".
The comprehensive win was the team's 76th straight victory.
In other games on Thursday, Japan edged Italy, China beat Taiwan and Australia overcame Canada, with all three matches finishing 1-0.
