Team USA on a roll
The US women's softball team recorded their fourth-straight shutout of the Olympics by defeating China 4-0.
Lori Harrigan struck out eight batters as the Americans stretched their incredible winning streak to 74 games.
In the day's other games, Canada beat Japan 1-0, Taiwan defeated Greece 2-0 and Australia humbled Italy 8-0.
Australia lie second behind the USA overall with three more round-robin matches left before the top four teams advance to the semi-finals.
Since softball joined the Olympics in 1996, America have had 14 shutouts in 23 games.
Harrigan - a three-time Olympian - became the first pitcher to throw a solo no-hitter in Sydney.
