USA overwhelm Australia
The USA women's softball team claimed their second win of the tournament with a 10-0 victory over Australia.
The game was ended after five innings under the so-called mercy rule as the Australians were losing by more than seven at that stage.
Lisa Fernandez was the star, allowing one hit while Stacey Nuveman hit a late three-run homer off Melanie Roche.
In the other games, Italy held off China 7-5, Japan beat Taiwan 6-0 while Greece defeated Canada 2-0.
