Hardy joins GB canoe team
Lucy Hardy will compete in Britain's nine-strong canoe team for the Olympics after a late call-up on Thursday.
Flatwater canoeist Hardy will take part in the women's K1 500m event at Athens this summer.
Canoe racing team manager Alan Williams said: "We are proud of the considerable improvement Lucy has made in the last two years.
"She's had two personal bests this year and making the final is within the reach of this talented young athlete."
