Egypt's Mohamed Aly will not contest Sunday's Olympic super heavyweight boxing final in Athens after failing a pre-fight medical.
The decision means that his Russian opponent, Alexander Povetkin, is awarded the gold medal without throwing a punch.
Aly, who upset Cuban favourite Michel Lopez Nunez 18-16 in his semi-final, has a shoulder injury.
Povetkin succeeds Britain's Audley Harrison as super heavyweight champion.
The 24-year-old won the world title last year and has received several offers to turn professional.
On Friday, Egypt heavyweight Mohamed Elsayed was also disqualified before his semi-final bout for failing a medical test.
