Hosts make last eight
Greece grabbed the last quarter-final spot in the Olympic women's basketball with a thrilling 93-91 win over Japan.
Ryoko Yano made eight three-pointers in the game for Japan, but missed an open shot at the buzzer that would have put Japan into the last eight.
Greece relied on Evanthia Maltsi, who nailed a three-pointer to give Greece a late lead and finished with 33 points.
Australia brushed aside Brazil 84-66 to top Group A and remain on course for a final showdown with holders America.
Brazil needed to win by 15 points to take the top spot from Australia, but instead finished third following Russia's 93-58 win over Nigeria.
In Group B, the Czech Republic's 74-57 win over New Zealand means they join the US and Spain in the next stage of the competition.
In Wednesday's quarter-finals, Australia will play New Zealand, Russia will play the Czech Republic, Brazil take on Spain, and the US will face the Greeks.
