Steiner wins weightlifting gold
Germany's Matthias Steiner clinched gold in the men's +105kg weightlifting category with a total lift of 461kg.
Steiner was in third after lifting 203kg in the snatch but surpassed everyone in his final clean and jerk - 258kg - the last lift of the event.
The German edged out Russia's Evgeni Chigishev by a kilogram.
World champion Viktors Scerbatihs of Latvia took the bronze with total of 448kg, with Ukraine's Artem Udachyn, who lifted 442kg, missing a medal.
