Belarus secure heavyweight gold
Andrei Aramnau of Belarus broke three world records on the way to winning the Olympic 105kg weightlifting gold medal in Beijing.
The 20-year-old world champion managed a snatch lift of 200kg, a clean and jerk effort of 236kg, and a total lift of 436kg.
Former world champion Dmitry Klokov of Russia won the silver medal with a total effort of 420kg.
Fellow Russian, Dmitry Lapikov, took the bronze medal.
