Ireland 3-0 Malaysia
Ireland enjoyed a winning start in the Olympic qualifying tournament being held in Victoria, Canada.
Randalstown's Clare Parkhill shot Ireland into a 22nd-minute lead and captain Eimear Cregan added a second goal before half-time.
Five minutes after the break Ireland made it 3-0 through Cathy McKean.
Ireland's next match is on Sunday against hosts Canada before further games against Uruguay, favourites Korea and Italy.
