Magpies one point away from glory
Harleston Magpies can clinch the East Anglian Premier League if they beat Havering on Saturday.
The men's hockey team has been out of the National League for over nine years and a win would see them go through to the play-offs for promotion.
The Magpies have only lost one game all season and will hope they continue their good form against Havering.
Havering currently sit fifth in the table, a massive 22 points behind the Norfolk side.
"It hit us quite hard when we dropped out of the National League"
Robert Simpson
There are still four games left this season, but the Magpies manager Robert Simpson wants to wrap things up this weekend.
"A win on Saturday and nobody can touch us and then we have to start thinking seriously about the play-offs," Simpson told BBC Radio Norfolk.
Changes to the structure of the league has meant that simply finishing top will not take the Magpies through to the National League.
Simpson added: "It hit us quite hard when we dropped out of the National League
"Last season, if we had won the league we would have gone straight through without play-offs."
