GB query judges after Murray loss
British boxing coach Terry Edwards accused the judges of bias after bantamweight Joe Murray lost to China's Gu Yu in the first round.
Murray was floored by a right hand in the second round but got up only to lose 17-7 on points.
Edwards said: "I'm not saying he won but the judges were very generous to the Chinese. It was absolutely stupid.
"You expect a slight bias but they gave the Chinese guy a point for everything. You expect a level playing field."
Murray fell 4-0 behind within two minutes and had to change his style to try to catch the judges' eyes.

"Is it really "sour grapes" to complain after a defeat when you might be right? Are those grapes not sour but perhaps a little unripe?"

Edwards added: "Joe didn't box his best but the scoring makes a difference. I'm not grouching, he lost fair and square, but everyone saw what happened."
Murray was equally disappointed with the interpretation of the judges.
"The score was bad," he said. "They were giving him a point for everything and I had to work to get all of mine. The only way I was going to win was to stop him hitting me at all."
The Ukrainian team made a protest after lightweight Oleksandr Klyuchko lost 10-8 to another Chinese fighter Hu Qing, on Monday, but their objections were dismissed.
