Magee handed tough Olympic draw
Ireland's badminton hopefuls have both landed tough first-round draws for the Beijing Olympics.
Donegal woman Chloe Magee will take on Estonia's Katie Tolmoff, who is ranked 46th in the world - 28 places above the Irish number one.
In the men's singles, Scott Evans will meet Germany's Marc Zweibler, who is 23 places higher in the world rankings.
Zweibler beat Evans in the semi-finals of the Irish Championships in Lisburn last December.
The badminton competitions get underway on Saturday 9 August at the Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium.
