Stoke athletes are Beijing bound
Stoke trio Alex Nelson, Steven Lewis and Kate Dennison have all been named in the Great Britain athletics squad for the Beijing Olympics.
Nelson, 20, from Birches Head, will compete in the 200m after finishing second at the National Trials in Birmingham on Sunday.
Both Lewis and Dennison will compete in the pole vault.
Lewis won his event in Birmingham whilst Dennison is selected despite missing the trials through illness.
