Loup fought back from four points down with 20 minutes left to beat 14-man Kilcoo in the Ulster Club semi-final.
The Down side led for 52 minutes of the contest but Paul Young's late goal turned the match in Loup's favour.
Kilcoo were 0-7 to 0-4 up at half-time despite having Marty McClean sent off for two yellow cards on 23 minutes.
Donal Kane's goal put Kilcoo 1-10 to 0-9 ahead but Young's goal helped Loup lead although Kilcoo felt they should have been awarded a last-ditch free.
Certainly, Conor Laverty appeared to be fouled as he charged towards goal in injury-time but referee Padraig Hughes waved played on, much to the fury of the Kilcoo players.
Shane McFlynn notched the opening score of the match but Kilcoo moved into a 0-4 to 0-1 lead, helped by a Dominic McAvoy point, when he resisted any temptation to go for goal.
Loup fought back to level at 0-4 to 0-4 with Paul McFlynn, Johnny McBride and Paul McVey on target.
McVey lined out against medical advice, having sustained a dislocated shoulder in a recent Derry County League game.
Barry Kane nudged Kilcoo ahead again and despite having McClean sent off, the Down champions tagged on two more points to forge a 0-7 to 0-4 interval lead.
Loup fought back in the 10 minutes after half-time to trail by only one point, 0-10 to 0-9, with Paul McVey notching a couple of fine scores.
Kilcoo then appeared to have struck a crucial blow as Barry Kane scrambled the ball into the Loup next on 40 minutes after a long ball from Donal Kane.
But Loup were starting to make use of their numerical advantage as Kilcoo visibly began to tire.
Young's cracking goal levelled proceedings with eight minutes remaining.
A further point from the impressive Paul McFlynn and McVey's fifth score put Loup two ahead as the match began to slip away from Kilcoo.
Loup wasted a couple of chances to end Kilcoo's resistance and Barry Kane gave the Down side a glimmer of hope when he pointed in the opening minute of injury-time.
From the kickout, Kilcoo won possession and Conor Laverty certainly appeared to be fouled as he charged to within 35 metres of the Loup goals.
But referee Hughes had other ideas and while Kilcoo still had time to win a late line-ball, the angle was too tough and the ball dropped short as the final whistle was blown.
