Ulster sides beaten in inter-pros

Ulster's Rory Kavanagh get the ball away against Munster

Ulster's football and hurling teams were beaten in Saturday's M Donnelly Interprovincial semi-finals.

Munster defeated Ulster 1-5 to 0-5 at Fermoy with Cork's Nicholas Murphy scoring the only goal.

In the hurling Munster again came out on top by a 2-14 to 1-12 margin with Antrim star Shane McNaughton netting for Ulster.

Munster will face Connacht in the football decider with Leinster their opponents in the hurling final.

Connacht's footballers beat Leinster 2-15 to 0-11 while the hurling clash between the provinces ended in a 2-11 to 1-10 win for Leinster.
